Medellin – The City of Eternal Spring

Back in the summer of 2017 we visited Colombia as a family. Our primary location of stay was Bogota but we made it a point to visit Medellin and Cali, each for a day. Medellin is very far by road and it’s really cheap to fly there so we took an early morning flight into Medellin and spent about 8 hours there before returning to Bogota. 8 hours may not be enough to explore the whole of Medellin, but we figured if we just got to see some interesting spots it would be enough. Frankly, you do need more time in a lovely city like Medellin, but the little exploration we did made a lasting mark on us and has built up the urge to return there. Weather wise, Medellin is fantastic; not very hot, just pleasant. Hence, it’s called the city of Eternal Spring. We compiled a video of out visit to Medellin and posted it to our YouTube channel – On The Spur Of The Moment, which is embedded here. But, do visit our YouTube channel and take a look at the other videos we have there. You may like some. We have tried to capture as much of the beauty of this place as possible. We are not experts in vlogs so it’s our newbee footage. We hope to get better in time. LOL.
